Moshiach is “AT THE DOOR”

My friend Yisroel from Lakewood went to Shul on Shabbos, as usual, and one of the four Roshei Yeshivah  (deans) of Bais Medrash Govoha (the Lakewood Yeshiva) in Lakewood, New Jersey,  Rav Dovid Schustal, shlita, was in attendance and got up to speak.

He said a number of things about how close we are to Moshiach.  He also quoted Rav Chaim Kanievsky, shlita, who said that Moshiach was
“not behind the door, he is AT THE DOOR.”
I thank Yisroel for this tidbit of information since he knows how excited I get hearing Gedolim tell us how close we are to Moshiach, Geula and the happy ending.  Keep ‘em coming, Yisroel.

    1. Good question. I will ask Yisroel.

    2. I'm sorry it took me awhile to post a reply. I was asking a few people who were also there so I could be as accurate as possible. He spoke several times over Shabbos. He spoke at R' Ginsberg's Shul and a friend of mine attended both talks. So I asked him what he said. The Rav said we are in 'The Times of Mashiach" and that the battle between the Secular Jew and the Torah Jew is VERY SIGNIFICANT and that it possibly could be defined as the war of Gog and Magog. All the arrows seem to be pointed in that direction. He also said that we are very, very close. As Rav Chaim said, Mashiach is not behind the door, he is AT the door.

  2. This really does not say anything. When someone is "at my door" they are still behind the door until I open it. What exactly was the 'Ivrit" the Hebrew word used. Maybe, "until I open it" is the implied meaning?

    1. Actually it says very much. When someone recently talked to Rav Chaim about making a fundraising trip, he said you won't need to soon -- don't bother to make the trip. Rav Chaim has never said such things in the past and it is reassuring that he is telling us, in his own colloquial language, that the time is here.

As Yisroel said above, even Rav Schustal said very, very close. I have known Rav Schustal since 1995 and I have never heard him say such a thing. He is a Gadol Hador as Rav Chaim and I know we can feel confident that their messages are from Hashem -- let us not try to analyse or read into the messages, let us just be happy about it and do what we have to as individuals to prepare.

  3. I have received other comments that have negativity in them. I do not post negativity, since Hashem reads all these comments and knows exactly who is displaying a lack of emunah in all these messages. Some of the comments I have answered numerous times and have shown that the concerns are bogus. I know everyone does not remember everything that I have written, but when I have repeated answers several times, I realize that the individual has not looked too deeply into my blog. Worst of all, it hurts other individuals to read someone's opinion that is not based on scholarship, but a lack of education and flawed human logic. Be nice to your fellow Jew and righteous non-Jew; and, think about the affect your comment may have on others. My goal is to encourage, not debate. I always leave open the option of my personal Email, absolutetruth613@gmail.com, if you wish to question anything, or even if you want to vent your frustrations in life. I am a sympathetic ear, many of my readers don't need to hear your personal misgivings. Be nice, Hashem is watching and judging you.

  4. That is good news! But Will Eliyahu the Navi come first before the Moshiach?

    1. He should, according to scriptures, and Moshiach ben Yosef, who is supposed to take us through the chaotic end (such as the final battle of Gog UMagog) and bring the remnant of Klal Yisroel home. I have been told to expect miraculous surprises, which may mean things not happening according to our interpretation or expectations. There may be more at the door than MBD.

  5. Clarification. For over 25 years I have been reading world events with an eye on developments that are Moshiach related and situations of Jewish life that are Geulah related. We are very much moving in that historical direction. An eye that seeks and watches will be able to understand. With all due respect to our Gedolim and honorable Rabbis. an occasional brief declaration should contain more to inspire, such as an increase in learning, davening for Am Yisraels merits, greater introspection et al. I have been focused on our trudging through history and it is exciting to witness our developments, even while some Jews are still blinded.

    1. All the events that will happen before Moshiach as stated in Tenach, Talmud, Zohar, Midrash, meforshim, etc, are a process that is taking about 70 years. The Rashi that says “when the Jews return to the land and it produces is a sure sign that you are in the end of days,” started in 1948 and has continued to now. The exciting thing about all this is that the long, long list of events that are to happen, have either happened (past tense) or are happening now. That is what tells us that we are close – Hashem’s list of “what to look for” is just about completed.

The thought that the Gedolim are making such comments is exciting since we are talking about Rabbaim who have never made such statements before. I am referring to Rabbaim who are not mystical and have never made such predictions. All of them are; and, I continue to hear more stories daily. I am also talking about Gedolim that have very much been a guide to Klal Yisroel by teaching about davening, Teshuvah, Limud HaTorah, etc.

I agree that Jews and all the people of the world have very little grasp of reality and the truth, but it is changing rapidly. Hashem’s plan for us to reach Tikun is perfect. It is happening and even increasing on a regular basis. It is all good news.

  6. at the door means that door is open but no one knows where the door is...when people cant see but they feel the presence and it does not matter if they cant see in the dark
