Today is noted worldwide International Holocaust Remembrance Day, to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of the Nazi occupation, but anti-Semitism is alive and well around the world. Yesterday (Sunday) the day before the World Memorial Day, parade held in Paris, capital of France, thousands of demonstrators called French slogans against Jews and Israel.
Thousands of demonstrators came despite the pouring rain, and with demonstrated with French extremist groups, which led a number of anti-Semitic statements. During the demonstration shouted slogans such as "Jews, France is not your country." Participants sang anti-Semitic comedian Dieudonne, who initiated and arm the opposite - Kennel.

ReplyDeleteSince the message is from Hashem that it is time to come home, most definitely. Rav Ben Artzi has been saying that the Jew-hatred will be getting worse and so it is. The Jews of Germany said the same thing in the 1930's -- this will pass, how bad could it get? Do we learn from history? Not too well.
