The Free Syrian Army has shifted to an offensive in Damascus and Aleppo
intending to induce an attitudinal change in the Syrian army and cause the
quick collapse of the regime. In a video uploaded to YouTube on Monday, Free Syrian Army commander Riad al-Asaad ordered rebel forces in southern Syria and the rural part of Damascus to wage the final battle against Assad's forces in the capital.
Rebel forces in the northern and eastern parts of the country were told to go to Aleppo, the economic capital of Syria.
Asaad's statements reflect growing confidence among the rebels, who have destroyed a large number of armored vehicles and helicopters, killed thousands of soldiers while taking many others prisoner, striking a lethal blow to the Syrian army's morale.
Many Syrian army troops now appear to be exhausted, lacking resolve or belief in the justice of their cause. Desertions keep mounting and now include senior officers and circles close to the regime.
The rebels now have the momentum and see their goals as within reach, given their wide support among the Sunni population, which was joined unequivocally this week by the Palestinians in the Damascus refugee camps.
Syria today is actually under the Assad
regime's military occupation, which is being gradually removed by the Free
Syrian Army.
I
have mentioned how intrigued I am about the comparison of prophecy in
scriptures to the current events of today.
Since many of us have seen:
what comparison of prophecies? what it says in yeshaya about falling of damascus is probably what happened already as inferred from the posuk before?
ReplyDelete"what it says in yeshaya about falling of damascus is probably what happened already as inferred from the posuk before?"
ReplyDeleteIt's not a smoldering/ruinous heap yet.
Your right but I am monitoring the fall of the King -- Assad. One is from Tenach; the other (about the King) is Zohar. That also looks imminent and hopefully followed immediately by Moshiach.
DeleteYitz sorry, Damascus has never been destroyed and has always been inhabited.... I personally kinda think what is going on now could be a precursor for worse.

Proof Moshiach Is Literally Around The Corner

In the 73 war the Rebbe conveyed the message to Mosheh Dayan, conquer Damascus.
Mosheh Dayan erroneously fearing Russian involvement if he would, did not
The Rebbe explained from sources, that the fall of Damascus is the rise of Jerusalem
What is the truth behind the fall of Assad, Syria and the name of the Arab world

We recently saw on a Living Torah video how the Rebbe strongly believed that Syria will fall in an anticipation of the coming of the Moshiach
The Rebbe advocated for Israel to march through Damascus.
& there's this:

I forget the name of the book – well written, very passionate Jewish – but I was a bit skeptical if the religious author was correct in his assumptions.
He believed that the prophecies preluding Moshiach indicate that Russia will come to Syria, beginning Gog Umagog the battle (not effecting the Jews in way God forbid, but eliminating the enemies of the Jews) will unfold.
So (after hearing something similar from the Rebbe) seeing this is the fact on the grounds – as I read – that apart from Russian weaponry that has been sent for awhile into Syria – they are now sending their warships there – it means Moshiach and all the goodness for the Jewish people he will bring is manifesting now.
