Transform your Tisha B'Av

                                                                               בס"ד
Find meaning and connection this Tisha B'Av with 3 powerful classes from leading international Jewish thinkers, Rabbi Akiva Tatz, Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky and Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller.

On Tisha B’Av we don’t study Torah, unless it is Torah pertaining to the event of Tisha B'Av.  Normal Torah study is a joyful event, and not in keeping with a day of mourning. I am a member of the Jewish Workshop who provides excellent videos from some of the best Rabbis and Rebbetzins. For Tisha B’Av they have provided three lectures that are well worth the time, and they gave me permission to share with you, my dear readers. Please go to:
https://jo246.isrefer.com/go/gift/jz/
These three talks were prerecorded with workshop members watching and having access to the lecturers for questions and answers. Obviously, this is not available when we are watching a prerecorded version, but the Jewish Workshop is available to you for all future presentations, live.

Watch the three in the afternoon, since the morning is dedicated to prayer. Have an easy fast.

  2. Nibiru won't happen before the end of Ellul because Hashem is rachamim and will give everyone the opportunity to get closer to Him. The time of din is not now, not even for the goyim. You know that..

    1. Nibiru, the announcement of Moshiach, the start of the worldwide redemption, the healing of the righteous, the end of death, the elimination of the evil of the world, etc, etc, etc is a tremendous thing. The evil ones have had thousands of years to get it straight and they failed. Nibiru will be sooner because of Hashem's rachmanus.

    2. Do you know about the debate in the talmud between when will geulah happen, in nissan or tishrei ? Well in Nissan it did not happen, even with the tetrad.. Sorry to have to remind you of that.

    3. Yes I do and I also know that the Talmud says that Moshiach will come in the 8th year, the year after the Shemitah cycle, and I also know that it says at the end of Daniel how the date is sealed until the end, and I also know that every Nissan and every Tishrei was a possibility, if we were deserving.

Our interpretation of anything in scriptures is superficial (at Peshat level), and not at a very deep hidden level as it is (Sod), which is the true meaning.

  3. The geulah will be "Achishena" with chesed and rachamim
Sicha of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Parshas Naso 5747 (free translation)

The geulah itself is in a manner of wealth, regarding the negation of the aspects of "chevlei Moshiach", since the Mitteler Rebbe explained that we have already fulfilled the obligaion of "chevlei Moshiach" by way of all the oppression and pogroms, etc. How much more so after all the matters that took place in the generations after this, up to our generation, and therefore the geulah must be with Chesed and Rachamim (kindess and mercy), as was said, in a way of wealth. This also applies to the time of the geulah -- not only in a way of "achishena", but "achishena" within "achishena" itself. That is to say, that also the "achishena" will be in a way of wealth.

  4. The not evil, but lazy as heck friends and many relatives, provided all kinds of excuses why Tisha B'Av was too much for them to observe. Quite frankly, most did not even know it was Tisha B'Av or its significance. Completely understood Prophet Jeremiah's frustration as he asked Am Yisrael - year after year - for them to repent and...nothing. The result was disastrous. The galut is killing us bit by bit and taking away our yiddishkeit. I can only hope that soon enough we merit to witness our Redemption but i am not so sure that it will be the peaceful one we look forward to. Ms. AP

    1. Please, have much more faith in Hashem's plan. I have said it many, many times all that is coming up is tremendous and Hashem will make sure that every Jew and every righteous non-Jew will survive and thrive.

Stop with any negativity when we have Hashem running the entire show. When Nibiru is overhead and all the good people will turn to Hashem, all will completely change. When Hashem removes the Yetzer Harah from our hearts and all the good people will serve Hashem completely, all will be completely good.

Hashem knows exactly what He is doing and it is all tremendous. Trust Him and have complete faith in Him, and stop analyzing the present fantasy world as the true reality. Nothing will be the same.

  5. Thanks Rav Menahem! You are right and i apologize for the negativity which serves no one. I worry about some friends and family not making the effort to get into the 1/3 group. It frustrates me no end. However, i will be putting it all in Hashem's hands and stop worrying. There...my blood pressure just dropped a few points. With Gratitude, Ms. AP

  6. I have been following the geulah nevuot since 10 yrs. Have you noticed that the beginning of a nevua happens, everyone gets excited or worried and then its like the continuation of that nevua is interrupted ? It seems like a pattern now. Examples: ww3 in syria (still waiting), haman in persia (bH israel od chai), russian ships pass the bosporus strait (and then what happened?), moshiach after the 4 red moons, nibiru, etc etc

    1. One of the biggest problems that we have is trying to interpret the meaning of events. As an example: you say WW3 was supposed to start, and you are still waiting. The Chofetz Chaim, who very impressively predicted the start of WW2, told us that WW3 will be a spiritual war, which is exactly what has been going on in the world for decades. WW3 is probably almost over, not getting ready to begin. Also, if you are for actual fighting, that also has been going on in the world for many years and in many places, almost worldwide. Every military expert will tell you that a WW2 scenario will not happen and that war these days is a very different animal.

When we are told that Moshiach may come on this date or that date, they are all correct, if we are deserving. If not, Hashem has a date picked out that is sealed until that date. There are some advance signs that we will get, which is a blog post that I have been working on for weeks (hopefully tomorrow, B"N).

Please stop looking at any date as anything more than a possibility -- you will see why in my post.

  7. Shalom Rav and Ms.AP,
Rav, i do not think that Ms.AP was being negative.. perhaps she was voicing her thoughts for those she loves and cares about. After all, many Jews, who are awakening, start changing for the better, and then because of their genuine love for those they care about, worry for them.

I am struggling as noahide to change and be the best, but i worry too for my family.. and some friends who are not even noahide.
Many of them think I am 'lost' :) and are praying hard that i will return to their fold. :)
It seems so funny to me at times, but that is the way of so many non-Jews.. they think they are right and all others wrong. Thanks to Hashem many are seeking the truth, like me and have converted to join the Chosen or just follow Noah.

Hashem bless and help all who are striving to become better Jews, better Noahides.. and better humans.
Hashem bless all who come to this blog. Amen and Amen.

Can i .. nay.. may I add.. i wish i had been born a Jew.. Now,too little too late for me.. i should have found this blog and others like this, aeons ago.. sigh.. no no i am not being negative.. just voicing how i feel when i reflect back of the time I wasted.. trying not to waste any more now.

    1. I too have relatives and friends that are completely in the wrong direction, but I also have complete faith that Hashem will make it all correct. That means not worrying about anyone or anything -- Hashem is in control and it is all good news.

Worrying is negativity and lacking faith in the One Source that helps.

  8. I was so illusioned that maybe this Tisha B'Av could be THE day... I really can't wait for Nibiru... what a disappointment...
I beg Nibiru to appear right now and end this world. Please, may Moshiach stop hiding and reveal himself to the world! B"H

    1. Wait for my next blog post that will tell you the only signs that we can rely on. Guessing at definite dates to come is fruitless. Having complete faith in Hashem that His plan is perfect and the best for us takes away any disappointment and only gives us great encouragement.

The date is sealed as Hashem told us through His servant Daniel. But there are indications that we will get that we can count on (hopefully I will tell you tomorrow, B"N).

  9. Can't wait for the new post, Rav.
I just ask you if there is a definite end date and we do not continue on in the fashion that we are living beyond that date - is it still this year, 5776? Can an end date be pushed off for some reason? Can this Galus continue on?

    1. I can't wait either (I wish it were done already).

Hashem is the only source of truth in this world. He gave us prophecies to tell us these truths. Since they have all happened exactly the way He told us, our confidence level is extremely high. Hashem has given us so many messages and signs that 5776 is absolutely the year of Moshiach and the year of Geula, that we could rely on it a billion percent.

Hashem keeps many things a mystery, but He never tricks us, that is a human characteristic.
