  2. There is a concept: "If you build it, he will come" (See Malachi 3:1) Remember that Isaac called it a "Field;" And this is the original "Field of Dreams." The Temple is not going to just fall out of Heaven, but the Heavens (the metaphysical), and Earth (the physical) will merge as we carry out HaShem's mitzvah to build the Holy Sanctuary on Har haBayit. 1. Since the miracles of this Geula will be greater than the Geula of leaving Egypt, the falling out of the sky scenario, which is in scriptures, is much more likely than us building the Temple. If you knew some of the changes to the third Temple that did not exist in the second or first Temple, you would question: How can we do that?

Chances are very good with the portable Tabernacle, the first and second Temples, we have already satisfied that mitzvah in a previous gilgul (reincarnation).

  4. If the third Temple is going to descend from Shamayim, should we continue to give tzedakah to the The Temple Institute? Or should we give where it may be more needed?

    1. From what I know of the Temple Institute, they do a lot more than collecting for a building. They have made begadim (clothes) for the Kohanim, they have trained Kohanim to do their avodah (service), they are involved in the sacred vessels, I believe they are involved with the Parah Adumah (Red Heifer), education and probably many more very worthy endeavors in preparation for the Temple.

  5. Interesting that most cannot accept or fathom the idea of miracles but in the messianic age what we consider miracles will become the norm because everything now is a miracle; H' is always in total control of everything but we take it all for granted.

Also, the Third Beit HaMikdash will be eternal. If man is the builder, how can it be eternal? As we know, the second Beit HaMikdash was rebuilt by Hordus (Herod) who was an evil non-Jewish king which was a beautiful edifice but did NOT have a fraction of the holiness of the original which King Solomon built; there were miracles occurring there daily. The Third & Eternal Beit HaMikdash will be so holy, it is hard for us at this time to perceive; we are told that we will build the doors but the rest will come down from Shamayim. It is said that the ones who build the doors to an edifice is as if he built the whole building.

    1. Not only is this a beautiful comment, I wish that I had said it. Thank you so much.

I would like to give one example that tells us why this permanent Temple could not possibly come from people. If you go to Isaiah 54:11 (and other places such as the Talmud) you will see that the Temple will be made of precious stones of Sapphire, Ruby and others, all of which we would not have available in such quantity or size (big blocks of stone), nor would we be able to fashion such stones even if we had them. Miracles beyond our imagination tells us it has to come from Hashem. There are many more miracles, such as the lighting and heating systems that we can't even understand.
