A Short Story with a Profound Lesson

בס"ד
At the Shabbos meal Friday night, I was talking about a particular well know individual, but I embarrassingly could remember his name – yes, I had a senior moment. Who I am talking about is unimportant, but I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I visualized this man and could remember so many details, but not his name.

It was beddy-bye time for me, but I found myself lying in bed wide awake. All I could do was picture the individual and no name came to me. This went on for about two hours when I decided to take the advice from a blog that I had read. The advice was “no matter how large of how small a situation is, turn to Hashem for help.” I proceeded to ask Hashem to help me remember the name (I was not too many hours away from waking up to go to Synagogue for the morning service). It was obvious that I would not think of the name, nor fall asleep on my own, and needed help. About two minutes went by after asking Hashem for help, and the name just popped into my head. With a big smile on my face, I thanked Hashem and fell asleep immediately.

The funny part of all this is that the blog that I got the advice from was my own, meaning I listened to my own words. “There is nothing too small or too large that Hashem isn’t there to help us.” Why it took me two hours to remember my own advice, I guess is another senior moment.

I definitely have many more profound stories in my life that this has happened – no solution to a problem until I turned to Hashem. But the more important concept I wish to impart is that all the chaos in the world and the devastation that is coming up, the only answer I have to the question: “what should we do?” is, you guessed it, TURN TO HASHEM!!!!!!

  2. I learned recently from the Ramchal that the reason we daven for saichel, bina, and da'as (in the fourth bracha) is that those come from Hashem. It's true. I've experienced this myself. Hashem has taken away my saichel. Hashem has also given me saichel.

Chochma, on the other hand, comes from our own efforts applying the intellectual gifts we are given by Hashem to understand the world. This is why we don't ask Hashem for it in the bracha.

    1. Thank you, that is very interesting. Since Hashem did not create us as robots to just follow without any personal growth, it makes much sense that we would be given basic intelligence, but would have to spend a lifetime developing the wisdom to use it.

  3. Rav check this video out,it's a super weird phenomebom in the sky in Miami. It' from 3 days ago

    1. Very strange. It did not appear as a comet, an asteroid or a meteor. I have no idea, but it does not seem to be from Nibiru, such as debris ahead of it.

    2. I saw videos that show practically the same thing, and everyone in the comments say that is a fired rocket... I really don't think so

    3. I don't think so either. See my comment below to Itzhak Drahy.

    4. This is very similar to the testing of new ballistic missiles, it was exactly here in the Middle East outside of Israel, and it was a rocket!

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-68j3N4wLL8

My best guess is that we are seeing the debris of Nibiru which is both in front of and behind. These are all in advance of Nibiru.

It definitely is not a rocket or a missile!!!!!

    1. That is beautiful. First let me explain to our English audience that a Segula is a "remedy" or a "protection."

To translate the verse: “Your word is a guiding light, and a light unto my path.”
When I am in the dark about something, a problem in life that needs solving, that needs Hashem’s help, Your word, Your guidance, Your Torah, Your Absolute Truth is the only answer to guide me and give me the correct path towards a solution.

I have been saying this message (in many different words) for 52 months, now we have a single verse to be said seven times to help us.

Thank you JM. It is so nice to hear from you. I haven't located the source of this pasuk, would you enlighten me?

I always enjoyed, and have been inspired by, your comments in the past, don't be a stranger.

    1. I take it you are referring to the weird light in the sky in Miami. That was not a missile. I was in the missile business for decades and have witnessed many missile firings, even at night, and that did not look at all like a missile. A missile has a streak of light behind it but it would not appear as a ball. Also, a missile would not give an atmospheric appearance (an elliptical shape cloud) as that. It was definitely in the atmosphere to give such a cloud surrounding it, but unless it was very high in the atmosphere, it would not move that slowly if it were a meteor. I am not certain what it could be, but it did not have the characteristics of a missile of any kind.

    1. Thank you so much. I was rushed this morning to get to morning services, and didn't have time to look it up. You saved me the trouble.

The verses before and after are very interesting and even put this segula into more perspective. The one after says:
"106 I have sworn, and I will fulfill, to keep Your righteous ordinances."
That tells us that this remedy, this protection will work for those who keep Hashem's commandments. Everything in life is measure for measure, and here we have another solution to our problems, if we follow the ways of Hashem.

  7. I read Hebrew but only with nekudos... Can you please transliterate the segula?

    1. Here is the verse with nekudos, followed by my rough attempt at transliteration:
      נֵר-לְרַגְלִי דְבָרֶךָ; וְאוֹר, לִנְתִיבָתִי.
Nare leragly d’vorechah, v’oer leensivahsy (the “ch” is like the baruch, the guttural sound, not the ch as in chew; and, the ah is like awe). This is an Ashkenaz pronunciation.

I know you didn’t need this, since you have the nekudos, but it was for the non-Hebrew readers.

    1. Thank you. I just bookmarked this site. The question is: what are the sources of radiation. The West coast is probably Fukushima, there is higher radiation that will come from Nibiru. More research needed.
