The End of Days, a presentation by Rav Yuval Ovadia

Please, please, please watch this video from Rav Yuval Ovadia.  It is a very good summary of subjects that I have been posting for the past 20 months.  This was just posted on YouTube 10 Dec 2013 so it is very current. More importantly, Rav Yuval is letting you know, as I have been saying, the only way to happiness and success is to follow Hashem's instructions.

There are some very difficult times ahead.  Who will see difficulty and who will not even notice the horrors of the world will depend complete on who is with Hashem and who is fighting Him.  Watch the entire video -- it could save your life and the lives of your loved ones.  Pass it on to as many people as you can -- we all need to understand the Rav's message which is definitely coming from Hashem:

  1. I watched this video. It was excellent! But I have to ask you.. why did you not post my statement about the churches being torn down in Eretz Isroel? Because you thought they were lashon hara? No more lashon hara than Moishele or Rabbi Nir Ben Artzi. Even Rav Ovadia says at 58:13 that the churches and mosques will be torn down. I feel vindicated. Thanks for posting this video.

    1. I apologize that I do not remember your post about churches. I recently was very busy with other projects and away from my computer. There is a possibility that I just missed it. If you resend it (possibly with a name rather than Anonymous), I will review the comment and post it (if it is appropriate).

So far as Lashon Hara, the Chofetz Chaim mentions that if someone is telling you about an individual who will harm you or steal from you, it is not Lashon Hara, it is an act of helping. Rav Ben Artzi and the Facilitated Communication individuals have been very instrumental in helping us. If they are talking negatively about a world leader or anyone, especially mentioning something everyone already knows (just providing a reminder), it is not Lashon Hara, but a message to try to save us from possible trouble. I would not put it on my blog if I ever thought it would cause a negative influence. I always hope that, even if something is not Lashon Hara but is very offensive to some of my readers, I would avoid such a comment.

Rav Ovadia is correct in that all religions of the world will disappear when Geula occurs. When we go to a world of truth, all falsehoods will be no more. That will include any house of worship that was not according to Hashem's will, but made up by people.

  2. I can't resend my post, however a synopsis: I told you about some Modern Orthodox Jew, (nice people I know) who stated to me their belief that after mashiach comes all faiths will be able to worship in peace in Israel, also some churches and mosques will be allowed to stand because they 'think' they are worshiping the G-d of Israel. This was told to me on two different occasions - one at my Shabbos table by what most would call a 'frum' Jew and the other was told to me by a young MO Jew teaching Midrash class. At end of class during discussion, I said to him all the churches and mosques will be torn down after maschiach comes. He tried to convince me some will be left standing. I admit I became agitated and said I will never agree with him on this. Again, thank you again for posting this.

    1. Saying all faiths is a misnomer since all people in the world in the near future will be monotheists believing in the One Living G-d. Buildings don't have to come down but all symbols of faith systems that were invalid will be gladly erased by the people (or Hashem will miraculously make them disappear). It is like on Chanukah when we recaptured the Temple, cleansed it and purified it for continued use. All buildings that had idolatry (crosses, Buddhas, etc) will be cleansed and purified. Since we will get the third Temple, I am not sure how many Shuls we will still need -- I'll let you know when the time comes, B"N. All the changes of the world will be miraculous and many will be unexpected. One thing for sure is that the two thousand year old debate about who is the Moshiach will no longer exist (actually it doesn't exist now since Moshiach is already here).

Over the years I have joked about being conformadox. Especially my time in the military travelling around, I davened wherever I could (whatever was available). This gave me the opportunity to learn about the Orthodox (the first 14 years of my life), the Conservative (the next 10 years) and even the Reform (6 years mixed into my military career). All the Jews that I met along the way were as lovely and wonderful as can be. The only difference between the groups, was the level of Jewish education. Those who truly knew the truth, who studied Hashem's way and lived Hashem's way were the only ones who were living real Torah Judaism. The rest were in the dark and had, measure for measure, many challenges in life. Their reaching Tekun was more difficult. As I have said: there are two types of Jews in the world -- Frum Jews and those who are not Frum, yet. All of us will reach Tekun, by the mercy of Hashem. How difficult the trip will be is up to the individual. I prefer the easy, much more pleasant, path.

  3. Was quite dismayed to read the post from anonymous about his friend who considers himself modern orthodox and yet has the foolish, foolish notion that there will be other religions after Moshiach comes. Of course, that is absurd and almost blasphemous. Judaism is not a religion, there is no such word in the Torah because it is the 'Eternal Truth'. When Moshiach comes and those of the nations that remain will all know that there is ONLY Hashem and no other, Ein Od Milvado; for the knowledge of Hashem will fill the earth as the waters cover the seabeds.

    1. Excellent comment. See today's post for my response. This required more than a one liner from me.

  4. I'm so frustrated that many hearing people have no respect to deaf people. We are despair to watch video with closed caption or english subtitle. Will they accountable to HaShem if no english subtitle? HaShem declared Lev. 19:14, "do not curse deaf." Do the hearing people desire to see deaf people are burning to hell? No? Then add english subtitle to avoid blood on their hands before day of judgement. Sigh

    1. I agree with you completely since modern electronics makes it easy to comply.

The good news is when Moshiach comes, we will enter a time that all physical limitations and sickness will be no more. Will it happen immediately or over time? I am not sure; but, I am of the belief it will be soon since all testing will be finished when we reach Tekun.

Hearing impairment is a test to help with Tekun. We must always look at the positive side of everything that comes from Hashem. The Chafetz Chaim lost his hearing in his later years and thanked Hashem that he didn't have to listen to Loshan Hara anymore.
