Another Mystery Solved (continued)

Something I forgot to mention yesterday is that even the acceptance of Moshe Rabbenu as the Deliver was on an individual level.  Many totally rejected him and even caused him to flee and return at a later time.  According to scriptures, the Moshiach will not be accepted by many and, in some cases, there will be those who would never accept him.

The story of the first Geula is repeating itself.  Moshiach is here and many know him and accept him even though he has not been anointment as King Moshiach yet.  Likewise, King David was alive and well for many years before he became king.  Many new him and even were aware before it happened that he was to be anointed.  Hashem is totally consistent and so is history.  Even with Moshe one might ask was it Moshe they wanted or the Individual that Hashem sent to remove them from bondage.  People then and now are always concerned about what does this mean to me and my loved ones.

An excellent question received yesterday that I don’t want to ignore is:  Are you feeling the redemption already and others of us don't?  I was saying that since we have a comprehensive list of the events of Geula; and, it seems obvious that the Gedolim of today and even many observant Jews that I know (such as my neighbors) are further along in the list of events than most people in the world, it was very tempting to evaluate where I believe I am personally.  Since the Talmud talks about two different types of Geula, personal – step #7 and national – step # 10, it very much supports that we, as individuals, are at different levels.  Where I am personally is not important – where each of you are is my point of emphasis.  Not just nice to know information but a self-examination of what you need to do.

This individual also stated:  I do believe that Moshiach will be knocking on our door and give us the choice to go or stay.  I take this to be a metaphorical knock since he would have way too many to visit.  So far as choice, the choice is ours to decide before he knocks on the door.  My entire purpose of this blog is to sell that tremendous possibility that we have and to get everyone to make the correct choice.  Let me give you an analogy.  Let say, an individual bought a lottery ticket, and picked the correct combination of numbers.  Mazel Tov, he won 100 million dollars and was the only winner – no sharing (except maybe 90% to the government).  This individual decided he was too busy to go collect.  He was swamped at work, many things he had to fix in the house, kids to drive to school, etc, etc, etc.  Everyone looked at him and questioned:  “Are you crazy?  You can retire for life, hire people to fix your house (or buy a new one that isn’t broken), hire someone to drive the kids anywhere they want to go (hopefully to Yeshivah), etc, etc, etc.  He answers:  “I’m not sure if I want such a change in my life.”  He gets advice: “Why don’t you try it; and, if it isn’t for you, just give it to me.”  I know this sounds silly.  But, you are each holding a lottery ticket worth much, much, much (and a whole bunch more muches) more than 100 million (tax-free) and answering “well, I’m not sure if this is what I want.”  In this case you don’t have to give it to me; I already have cashed in my ticket and am enjoying the luxurious life.  I wish to share my winnings life with you, however.

One additional thing on a personal level.  I mentioned yesterday that Moshiach is only a person.  It is the Kingdom of Hashem that I crave.  If you go to my blog post entitled: “He is Hiding Behind Nature”, 2 May 2012, you will see what I am waiting for.  In a word “Hashem.”  In the future when Hashem is no longer allusive to us and we are totally aware of Him, then we will truly be living in paradise with joy and happiness beyond comprehension.  Moshiach is the agent that will help usher in this time of utopia and is the major reason that I crave Moshiach.  Now, you see where my heart is, and what I truly crave for me, my family and the entire world.

Most people in the world today would say "Moshiach is not here -- don't try to fool me."  Why?  Because they don't have a clue as to what the Messianic era entails and how wonderful it will be.  People reject change if they are unfamiliar with it.  That is why no matter how much of a warning I give and no matter how much proof I provide, there will still be a majority of people who don't want to give up their secular ways and follow Hashem.  They argue with success instead of realizing what truly “the way to success” is.  They see an observant life as strange and possibly even scary.  I believe atheists are not convinced that there is no Deity running the show, but that they are afraid of the concept.  Being a coward provides limited options in life.  But, it is like the child that you tell “this is a new food -- taste it you are going to like it.”   The response “I DON’T LIKE IT.”  How do you know if you didn’t taste it?  “I DON’T LIKE IT.”  Most parents have had this conversation (sound familiar?).

In years of doing Kiruv (outreach), the most honest Jew that I ever worked with was a fellow that I was wowing with hidden codes in the Torah, prophecies come true, science in the Torah (he was also an Engineer with a very extensive science background), all my fancy footwork.  He, after a short while, stuck his fingers in his ears.  I asked “what is the matter?”  He replied:  “I think you are showing me truth about life that I may not be ready for.”  I was speechless.  I complimented him on being the most honest person I have ever dealt with; considering, most people who can’t cope with the truth just change the subject or pretend they have to leave or some other lame excuse.  People do not know what is best for them and I fully understand that – I could spend hours telling you the mistakes I’ve made (but I won’t).  One thing I know is that every mistake I made in life was for my own good.  We are taught “one does not really know good unless one knows evil” or “one does not know right unless one knows wrong.”  The idea is to learn from ones mistakes and improve.  This crash course that I have attempted to give since March was a way to cut to the chase since time is very short in getting it right.

  1. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. I'm doing tshuvah and encouraging others to do the same. I crave the Messianic era and believe it's upon us. Is there something else I'm supposed to do?

    1. Repentance, prayer, charity, Torah study, helping others and living by the Torah is what Hashem wants from us. A very important ingredient is our attitude. Hashem truly knows who sincerely wants to serve Him and who is just going through the motions. I have said many times that Hashem does not judge us by what we know, but how we grow. Hashem's mercy is infinite and when we turn to Him for help, He is there for us. It says in the Talmud, if I open a pinhole, Hashem will open a hole big enough for a chariot to go through. When we turn to Hashem for help, we succeed. I am nothing and Hashem is everything. With complete trust in Hashem, any mistake that I make will be turned into growth. He is always there to help me; and, his infinite mercy will become totally apparent when this time of testing is complete. With love for Him and a positive attitude that He is always there to help, you have nothing to worry about. Your future looks bright for all eternity. B”H

  2. I would like to say that your answers are very clear and to the point. Thank you! A lot of blogs are confusing and hard to understand. Even though your concepts are hard to grasp you have the clearest form of writing them on "paper". That being said I do wish that what you say is true and that mashiach does come very soon. To comment from above, to clarify, yes everyone needs to make that personal choice. It is very hard to know when it comes down to it how many people will choose right. Even myself and person who looks for mashiach everyday wonders if i am ready because, YES, it is different from what we are use to. Many jews going out of Mitzrayim, after all they went through, wanted to stay anyway. Truth is REAL and very scary. I tremble and get excited at the same time. Everyday that mashiach is not here is because hashem is kind and is waiting for us to return on our own. To make that correct choice. I do agree with your statement that people don't understand good until understand evil. I myself have constant struggles on a daily basis (as we all do) and in a way I want Mashiach to come to stop that struggle and suffering. So the question remains. Am I ready for Mashiach? Am I personally prepared or do I just want to end the suffering. How does one know if she/he is ready?

    1. The other 35 Nistar Tzadikim know who he is. Just knowing that he is here is reassuring that the time is close for his announcement to the world. Experiencing some of the events talked about in my post yesterday, are what lets me know that the messianic era is here, even before his name is disclosed. As said yesterday, personal Geula is #7 in the process and national Geula is #10; anointment of Moshiach is #15. How long in between is still secret but enjoying the benefits of Geula is either here or imminent (or not possible for rashaim -- the wicked) depending upon the observer and his or her connection with Hashem. One thing is for sure, things are happening, but you won't see them in the news -- they are felt and experienced, especially on a spiritual level (don't ask for an explanation of this last statement, at least not in terms of this physical world). As you can see trying to explain concepts beyond human comprehension is very difficult. I also have very little information on experiencing Geula in Chutz La'Aretz since I am not there.

  5. you call 35 nistarim as many and accept him. I though Hakadosh Baruhu is the ONE who will accept him either "he" is the Mashiah or not?

    1. Hashem named the Moshiach during the 6 days of the creation -- over 5772 years ago. Rav Keduri interviewed him on 9 Cheshvan 5764 and left a message to the other 34 tzadikim (34 + Rav K + the one to become Moshiach = 36, of that time). I heard about a get together several years ago where about 75 Rabbis got together with the potential Moshiach. I was not invited so I do not know exactly how many where there or, more importantly, how many know who the individual is (the one to be anointed Moshiach) -- it may be in the thousands for all that I know. Why I said they accept him is because Hashem chose him. Remember what I said about skeptics. Be careful about your skepticism and critical attitude -- you may be one of the ones never to meet Moshiach. Have faith -- not disdain.

  6. Rav Menahem seems you know other nistarim who know who will be anointed?

    1. I am not sure what you mean by your comment. I know many Tzadikim and have even studied with Gedolim. Are any of them Nistarim? Possibly, maybe even probably, but the idea of being a "hidden" Tzadik it just that, it is hidden. So far as being anointed, there is only one Moshiach to be anointed. I am not in the know as to whether Moshiach ben Yosef is considered an anointed Moshiach since he is not in the royal bloodline of Dovid HaMelech. I had mentioned at one time that I met a great Tzadik who met many, if not all, of the requirements for Moshiach, but that was a one time meeting over ten years ago and a wait and see if it is really him. There was once a blog post of a Jew living in Jerusalem who knew and spoke to a Nistar Tzadik. He asked the Tzadik two questions: Do you know who the individual is who will be anointed Moshiach; and, do you know exactly when it will occur? The Tzadik answer affirmative to both question. The Jew questioning him asked: Can you tell us who and when? The Tzadik answered that if he did he would be taken from this world immediately and that Hashem would change the date. Top secret is top secret even in the world of Moshiach (or should I say, especially in the world of Moshiach. Knowing that you are close because of the many reasons that I have discussed on this blog and have read on many other blogs, does not tell us "who or when" just that we should know soon.

  7. Menachem, so explain to your audience how God identified him. This will be for certain a major flaw in your theories. Will will certainly be decieved.

    1. Hashem didn't identify him, He created him as he created all of us. I have no theories, only the word of Hashem. Your question is meaningless and indiscernible.

  8. Here is your quote "Why I said they accept him is because Hashem chose him."

So, how did haShem choose him? In our history we have followed many false messiah's, how would he be different unless we know exactly how God chose him, annointed him or identified him, choose your phrase you like. Also it is well understood that R. Kaduri met him in a dream.

    Please clarify.

  9. You have to be kidding to question how or why Hashem does what He does. The Infinite Intelligence of the universe does what He does because He runs the whole show and He knows what is best for everyone. The fact that He chose the Moshiach thousands of years ago and, as the Rambam said, Hashem allowed Yushka and other false moshiachs to exist for His purpose (that is a long story). Hashem has not anointed him yet. That will be at the time that he receives the neshamah of Moshiach, which he doesn't have yet. Even before he gets the neshamah, he is still the designated Moshiach. The fact is that R. Kaduri did not dream his interview (I believe that came from a goyisha source), but as the Ben Ish Chai told the Rav a long time ago, he would meet the Moshiach (in person). Please, please read what I have said numerous times about being positive, not being skeptical and having complete faith and trust in your Creator. You are shooting yourself in the foot with your skeptical, negative attitude and your very distorted opinion (one of the most dangerous traits you can have). How much Olam Habah are you wanting to sacrifice and how much time are you willing to spend in Gehinnom by not trusting Hashem or me, His humble servant. My readers need chizuk, not machlokes. If you stop to think about all the Jews you can be hurting by questioning Hashem's plan as I am presenting it, then you would realize you may not have an Olam Habah -- it may already be lost. Please, please be nice as the Torah instructs you and stop your very secular ways by hurting your fellow Jews. The too-late-date is very close and the remaining days for you to do teshuvah are very limited.
